Hello, I’m
Zibin Zhao
I’m a Bioengineering PhD student at HKUST, in Hsing Lab. My research is in molecular diagnostics and computational biology.
I also write code and make small applications. This is where I keep my papers, research tools, and the things I make outside the lab.

Things I’ve made
- CasMD
- Tools for preparing protein and nucleic acid molecular dynamics simulations.
- Medit
- A journal with daily reflection and small grounding exercises.
- DL-SELEX
- Code for structure-enhanced deep learning in aptamer selection.
- Yaos
- Medicine Buddha readings, a seasonal calendar, and daily reflection.
