A short story我的故事

I keep making things because apparently leaving an idea alone is not one of my skills. Some are useful, some are gloriously unnecessary, and most begin with “what if?” I like trains, games, design, AI, biology, and the strange places where they crash into each other. Somewhere along the way, curiosity accidentally turned into doing a PhD at HKUST. I still learn the same way: build it, break it, make notes, try again.

我总忍不住把脑子里的点子做出来 —— 看来「先放着不管」并不是我的强项。有些真的有用，有些精彩得毫无必要，而大多数都始于一句「要不试试？」我喜欢火车、游戏、设计、AI、生物，也喜欢看它们在意想不到的地方撞个满怀。不知不觉，好奇心一路把我带到了香港科技大学读博。我的学习方式倒一直没变：先做出来，拆坏它，记两笔，再来一次。
